NannyHunt ® enables you to quickly find job opportunities in your area (based on your location). We provide you with a payment processing option to enable you to automate payment to your desired bank account, ensuring immediate compensation and reducing the awkwardness of payment after the service. We also have cancellation fees, which help protect you again lost opportunities. All-in-all, it is the most efficient way to find a job and ensure fast compensation.
There are two options for job payment - cash or securely through the app. If you select the cash option parents are expected to provide cash payments at the end of each job. If you select the secure in-app payment method, you should receive immediate confirmation at the completion of the job that the payment has been receive in the bank account you provided after sign-up. You can update your bank account details in the app at any time. In-app payment requires the establishment of a separate account with Stripe, our payment processor.
Not a problem at all. Simply confirm cash as the preferred payment before each job. The parent will be responsible for paying you in-person at the completion of the job.
There are small transaction costs charged by Stripe, our payment gateway should you select to get paid securely through the app. Stripe charges 2.9% plus $2.30 for the first transaction each 30 days. For all transactions thereafter, NannyHunt takes 5% - 2.5% - $0.30 per transaction through the app. When you select your desired hourly rate please remember there will be a small transaction fee removed from the final amount paid. We do not charge any fees for cash payments.
NannyHunt ® uses Stripe as it’s provider of in-app secure method of payment. After registration click the payment menu selection to add your bank account information to establish your payment processing account with Stripe. This is managed 100% by Stripe, and NannyHunt ® does not keep any of your financial data on it's servers. Note, that only your bank account information is need to enable this feature. Click the networking menu option and search for Nannies and Parents that you know, and add them as connections. As your network grows, so do your job opportunities.
You are not required to enter a social security number to use NannyHunt ® . However, you must be legally eligible to work in the United States in order to use the app. By clicking to agree to the Terms and Conditions you declare that you are legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Users can cancel at anytime. However, the membership fee covers 30-calendar days, so you can continue to use the app until the end of that period. All amounts are non-refundable once paid.
We understand that plans change. Because of that cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours prior to the job. After that we charge a $15.00 cancellation fee to protect parents who must rearrange plans. However, if you have to cancel due to safety reasons there is no payment incurred and please contact NannyHunt ® ASAP following any safety cancellations with all the details.
NannyHunt ® is about bringing parents and nannies together through social networking. Through our star ratings, reviews and connections, the app community tries to provide transparency and accountability of parents using the app. While we provide a variety of tools for Nannies and Parents to evaluate each other ultimately it is up to you to communicate with parents before accepting a job to make sure you are comfortable with the arrangement.
