NannyHunt ® does not perform background checks on Parents or Nannies. NannyHunt ® is a social gateway for Parents and Nannies to connect with one another. We offer reviews and ratings of both Parents and Nannies so that when you make a decision on hiring a Nanny you can consider the experiences of the other in-app members in the NannyHunt ® network. The more connections you have, the larger your network of trusted friends and family. Before making a hiring decision you can also review profiles, references, contact mutual connections on the app and see the in-app chat feature. While we provide a variety of tools to help Parents and Nannies evaluate each other, the decisions as to whether to work together are ultimately the responsibility of each Parent and Nanny.
Not to worry. You don’t need connections to join. You can still search from our list of Nannies, post jobs, review profiles and read reviews.
All in-app transactions are managed by Stripe, a leading nationwide provider of payment services. Please contact support.stripe.com for all questions. Alternatively if you uncomfortable with online payments we also offer a cash option.
When you post a job either by posting a job to the Nanny network or by searching for Nannies by location, you can select what type of help you need - either one-time (date-night), long-term (full-time) or recurring (every Tuesday and Thursday for example). Simply select your preference and post the job to the network.
Parents can set pricing when they post a job and Nannies will subsequently post their desired rate in their profile. When Parents post a job the presumed hourly rate is what is mentioned in the job posting unless otherwise negotiated thereafter. NannyHunt ® nanny control or require any pricing for childcare services. NannyHunt ® charges subscription fees to participate in our network and may also collect fees on in-app payments (see below for details).
There is no pressure to book a Nanny if you join NannyHunt ® . Joining NannyHunt simply provides options so that when need a Nanny you have the tools at your fingertips.
While no one can guarantee security of data absolutely, we employ industry standards methods and practices to protect your data including, without limitation, using a PCI secured payment provider in Stripe. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information on the steps we take to protect your information.
You can cancel at anytime. Kindly note that the monthly fee will be valid for 30-calendar days from the date of payment, and no refunds will be granted for early termination.
Regarding the payment for the jobs, when you select your desired hourly rate please remember there will be a small transaction fee removed from the final amount paid. There are small transaction costs charged by Stripe, our payment gateway should you select to get paid securely through the app. This process is managed 100% by Stripe, and NannyHunt ® does not keep any of your financial data on it's servers. Note, that only your bank account information is need to enable this feature. Stripe charges 2.9% plus $2.30 for the first transaction each 30 days. For all transactions thereafter, NannyHunt ® takes 5% - 2.5% - $0.30 per transaction through the app. If you have any questions about Stripe please go to: support.stripe.com for all questions. We do not charge any fees for cash payments.
We understand that plans change. Because of that cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours prior to the job. After that we charge a $15.00 cancellation fee to protect Nannies who would otherwise need time to find another job. If you have to cancel for safety reasons there is no fee, and subsequently please contact NannyHunt ® immediately with details of the event.
