At NannyHunt, LLC (“NannyHunt”), we know that online privacy is important to our customers and you have a right to know how information we collect through this website and the NannyHunt app will and will not be used. We have created this privacy statement (“Policy”) to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy by helping you understand what kind of information we collect from individuals who provide care services (“Nanny” or “Nannies”) and individuals seeking care services (“Parents”, and collectively with Nannies, “Users”) through our mobile application and associated websites (the "NannyHunt Services") as well as how we collect and use Users’ information. The term “Members” refers to Users who have an active account with NannyHunt.

This policy, together with the applicable provisions of the NannyHunt License and Terms and Conditions of Service, contains important information that impacts our use of personal and other data you provide to or through NannyHunt Services. Please read this policy carefully. Use of NannyHunt Services is absolutely conditioned upon reviewing, understanding and agreeing to all of the information, disclosures and disclaimers contained in (1) this Privacy Statement; and (2) the NannyHunt License and Terms and Conditions of Service (the "Terms of Service") governing the other terms of use of the NannyHunt Services.

From time to time, we may modify our practices that relate to our use of your Personal Information. In such an event, we will update this Policy, and post such revised Policy to the NannyHunt Services. You can find out when this Policy was last revised by referring to the revision (“Rev”) date legend under the title of this Policy. We will use commercially reasonable means to notify you in advance of any material change to this Policy and your continued use of the NannyHunt Services following the effective date of such modified Policy shall constitute your consent to such modifications.

Your Privacy

We do not collect or use Personal Information (as described below) about you except as discussed in this Privacy Statement.

We use your Personal Information for our internal purposes. Those purposes include, but are not limited to, tracking the number and kinds of visitors to the web site, analyzing the performance of the web site and tracking customer preferences as well as for internal marketing purposes as described more fully below. We do not sell, share, or intentionally make available to third parties or the general public your Personal Information.

We do not sell, share, or intentionally make available to third parties or the general public your Personal Information, except (a) as expressly disclosed below and/or (b) to our third party vendors and suppliers and service providers as may be necessary for them to perform services related to the NannyHunt Services on our behalf. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to direct such third parties to comply with this Policy.

Although it may be necessary for you to provide Personal Information to us to take advantage of certain features of NannyHunt Services, we will not use your Personal Information to send you promotional materials (other than the promotions that are expressly contemplated as part of the NannyHunt Services for which you are signing up) or disclose your information to any third party for marketing purposes unless you have consented to receive future promotional materials. By using the procedures outlined below, you will also always have the opportunity to correct or change any of the Personal Information you provide to us, including changing your initial decision as to whether or not you would like us to use your Personal Information to provide information on new or unrelated products or services that may be of interest to you.

As used in this Privacy Statement, “Personal Information” includes one or more of the following types of information:

Personal Data – We collect personal contact information about Members, including without limitation name, email, password, mobile number, address, date of birth, resume, references, language capabilities, ownership of driver’s license, geographic location information, and any additional information the Members may choose to volunteer through the NannyHunt Services including but not limited to information volunteered through the contact us webpage, telephone, emails, postal mail, in-app chats, or text messages.
  2. Payment and Billing Information – Users have the option of making payments on the NannyHunt Services through a third-party service provider called a secure payment processor. If Users elect to make payments through the NannyHunt Services, Users will be are asked to provide payment card information for payments, Users are actually entering their payment card information directly to the payment processor’s systems. NannyHunt does not collect, store or otherwise process Users’ payment card information on our systems. As of the Effective Date first noted above, Users have the option of electing to make payments on the NannyHunt Services through the secure payment processor Stripe. If Users elect this option, Stripe will collect, authorize and process payment for your purchases through NannyHunt Services. We choose our service providers for this service because they protect your payment information in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). PCI-DSS standards are managed by the PCI Security Standards Council (a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) and are designed to help ensure the secure handling of credit card information. By electing to pay for purchases by credit card, you are agreeing to Stripe’s collection and use of your payment information. You should review information about Stripe’s data handling policies and terms of service, available from their website (stripe.com/us/ssa and stripe.com/us/privacy).

3. How We Obtain Personal Information-We collect Personal Information from data subjects or from Users  

and Members through the NannyHunt Services, when you register for an account on the app, through your use of the mobile app, and other information you provide directly to NannyHunt or other Users.

Disclosures

Payment Card Information. NannyHunt does not collect, store, or otherwise process any payment card information. Parents and Nannies are free to arrange payment without using NannyHunt Services. For the convenience of our Users, NannyHunt Services offers Users access to third-party payment processing services by Stripe to facilitate the completion of payments for child care services between Parents and Nannies. If Users elect to utilize the secure payment processor Stripe through NannyHunt Services, Users are advised that they are providing their payment card information directly to Stripe and Stripe uses Users’ payment information to process their orders with NannyHunt. For more details, please see Section 2(b).

Identifying Information. Unique identifiers (such as e-mail address(es)) are collected and may be used to respond directly to you when you request information, action or a response from us and/or Users, as well as for verification purposes. NannyHunt also sends text messages to your mobile device to verify your identity.

Profile Information. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary set forth in this Privacy Policy, please note that in order to register for an account with NannyHunt Services, you must provide your first and last name, phone number, email address, and location. As you access and use NannyHunt Services and interact with other registered Users of NannyHunt, you may choose to provide as part of your Profile (as defined in the Terms of Service) certain additional information, including personally identifiable data. All such additional information are optional and may be viewable by any user who has downloaded the NannyHunt mobile application by looking at your Profile as follows: your first and last name, your star rating, and your connections in the NannyHunt social network. Other Profile information that you enter (date of birth/age, languages spoken, hourly rates, past jobs completed, photo selfies, resume, references, whether you have a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, etc.) and reviews from past jobs will be available to other registered Members as part of your displayed Profile information. Your email address and mobile phone number are visible only to you and will not be viewable to others, but they may be used to facilitate the messaging functionality in the NannyHunt app between Members (without displaying the actual contact information to other Members).

Location Data. With respect to Users of the NannyHunt app on mobile devices, for purposes of providing you NannyHunt Services, we may also request permission to access and store your location data in order to provide location-based services such as searching for Users near you. Parents and Nannies each provide their respective location data with: precise GPS-based functionality on their mobile devices used to access NannyHunt Services, manually entering a current location for purposes of posting, or responding to a job posting, and with the designated address stored in their Profiles. Neither NannyHunt’s mobile application, nor the NannyHunt Services will operate correctly if you do not grant your permission to NannyHunt to access and store your location data. You may refuse such permission, or subsequently opt out by adjusting the settings in your mobile device; but you acknowledge that you may not be able to continue and/or proceed with use of NannyHunt’s mobile application, or the NannyHunt Services if you do so. We may also use your location data specifically for our internal business purposes only, such as identifying opportunities to improve our services, and better explaining and marketing our services.

NannyHunt Social Networking. NannyHunt is a social network of Parents and Nannies. As with any other social network, you can establish connections with Parents and Nannies by “friending” them individually. The more connections you establish with your peers, the better NannyHunt’s search and matching works. You should use the NannyHunt search function to search for Parents and/or Nannies that you may already know for the purpose of sending them a request to connect. Any request to connect is subject to the other Member’s acceptance. Once connected, additional Profile information not generally available to other Members will become available such as (for Parents) Nannies used by connections, and depending on the nature of the job posted (whether it was from your designated Profile home address, or while traveling), such past information could allow connections to determine where you were when you posted a past job.

Communications about NannyHunt. We may always use your contact information to communicate with you about various aspects of the NannyHunt Services, including without limitation any problems with your Profile information, as well as status updates or notifications regarding the NannyHunt Services, website and/or apps. This includes an initial mobile verification sent when you register a Profile with the NannyHunt Services, as well as periodic text or in-app notifications/alerts about jobs and/or the NannyHunt Services. Standard messaging rates between you and your carrier will apply with respect to text messages sent. You may set or change your in-app notification purposes using the general preferences applicable to your mobile device and operating system, however disabling notifications and/or alerts may prevent the NannyHunt Services from operating as intended.

Aggregate/Anonymized Data. From time to time, we may disassociate non-personally identifiable information from your Profile and information about your NannyHunt transactions including without limitation, searches, location data, offers accepted and/or redeemed from your personally identifiable information, aggregate such data with similarly anonymized data from other users and use such aggregated data for reporting and analysis. NannyHunt may use such aggregated data, reporting and analysis for its own business purposes, including without limitation improving and refining NannyHunt service features such as search results, recommendations, and offer matching, and for the benefit of NannyHunt’s subscribers, customers, business partners, and clients and may disclose, share or sell such aggregated data, reporting and analysis all without any further consideration, compensation or attribution to you.

Mobile Device Data. In addition to the aggregate/anonymized data described in the section above, we will also use aggregated/anonymized mobile device data (the last four digits of your unique hardware identification, known as a “UDID”) described in this section for the purposes describe in the Aggregate/Anonymized Data section above.

Sharing Information with Third Parties. We may share your information with our third party service providers to use on our behalf in performing services related to the administration, use, operation and/or maintenance of NannyHunt Services and/or reacting to your specific requests. Specifically, we partner with Appy Pie LLC, a third-party service provider, to run the customer support and other help desk services. We also use ZenDesk, a cloud based customer service platform for additional helpdesk support services. We may also use other third parties to facilitate our business and operations, such as payment processing, customer relationship management, logistics, hosting NannyHunt Services and/or our online services, to send out email updates about our company and/or services, and/or to provide helpdesk or customer assistance. In connection with these offerings and business operations, our service providers may have access to your Personal Information for use in connection with these business activities. In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

Internal Purposes. We may use your Personal Information for our internal purposes. Those purposes include, but are not limited to, internal marketing and analysis, including additional marketing contacts that may or may not be tied to specific transactions initiated by you.

Communications, Support Requests. If you contact us for assistance, to make a request or suggestion, or to report a problem or other issue through and/or regarding NannyHunt Services, we may collect and store your contact information, communication, and/or other information about you, including but not limited to your name, e-mail address, user name, location, and other information. We may use such information to respond to you, research your request/communication, and for other purposes in accordance with provisions of this Policy.

Marketing Companies. We may use your information to provide to third party marketing companies to help us with marketing campaigns, but we will never use your information to send you marketing materials without your consent. We may also use your information to provide to third party mail service companies to help us with mail/email campaigns, but we will never use your information to send you email/mail campaign materials without your consent.

Optional Data Processing. In addition to processing Personal Data in the ways set forth above, you may also choose to allow us to use certain Personal Data as detailed below. We may also use third parties to process certain types of data. The types of data processing described in this section are not necessary or integral to the use of NannyHunt Services and we will not use Personal Data for such optional purposes except as expressly set forth in this section.

  1. Information Requested – If you request information about our company, our affiliates, or our respective products and services, you may elect to provide personal contact information such as your name, your email address, your phone number, your company affiliation, and/or your mailing address. We may use your information to respond to your request.
  2. Opt-In Subscription or Mailing Lists – From time to time we may offer you the option of signing up, or having us sign you up, for various subscription and/or mailing lists used to send communications from our company for purposes of keeping investors, customers, and other registered recipients updated with respect to investor relations information about our company, news and developments, our company’s products and services, and other communications about our company and our affiliates (“Updates”). In order to register you on such subscription and/or mailing lists, we will ask for your name and email address. If you provide your personal information specifically to subscribe to a particular Update, we will use the personal information you provide specifically to send you the requested Updates. In other cases, we will specifically ask for your consent to use such information on an opt-in basis; provided, you acknowledge that where particular uses of opt-in information are necessary to our performance of related Domain Name Services, we may not be able to continue performing the affected NannyHunt Services if you exercise your right to refuse, or later withdraw, your consent.
Traffic Data

In addition to the Personal Information that you voluntarily provide, NannyHunt Services also gathers data generated automatically by traffic to NannyHunt Application (“Traffic Data”). For example, we use your device’s IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer NannyHunt Services. Your IP address is used to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information.

NannyHunt Services may use both persistent and session “cookies” to provide customer efficiencies such as automatically filling in standard information on return visits. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but most browsers also allow you to configure your web browser to refuse cookies or to notify you before a cookie is set. You also can manually view (and delete) any cookies stored on your computer.

NannyHunt Services requires you to accept "session cookies" to enable certain functions as you travel from page to page. "Session cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored in your browser and passed back to the server whenever a request for a new page is made. The session cookie is never saved or written to disk. It is discarded when the browser exits, when you log out of NannyHunt Services, or when you have not visited a page on the Services for more than 20 minutes. Most web browsers automatically accept session cookies, but most browsers also allow you to configure your web browser to refuse them or to notify you before a cookie is set. Please note however that NannyHunt Services may not function as intended, or at all, if you refuse or delete such session cookies placed by NannyHunt Services.

NannyHunt Services may also use “persistent cookies” to provide end-user efficiencies such as remembering end-user NannyHunt Services preferences, automatically filling in standard information on return visits, and so-forth. As opposed to the session cookies discussed above, persistent cookies are not required to access and utilize the web site, but if you configure your browser so that it does not accept cookies from this web site, you may be prompted to provide certain information or choose certain options each time you visit NannyHunt Services.

NannyHunt Services may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google").  Google Analytics uses "cookies" to help the website analyze how users use and view NannyHunt Services. Any information generated by the cookie about your use of NannyHunt Services (including your IP address, and particulars about your browser and configuration as reported by your browser) may be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Please note any information collected by Google Analytics cookies do not include personalized identification information (such as names, e-mail addresses, and payment information).  Google may use the information collected for the purpose of enabling us to evaluate your use of NannyHunt Services, certain aspects of your user experience on NannyHunt Services, compiling reports on NannyHunt Services activity for us and providing other services relating to NannyHunt Services activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Do Not Track Disclosure

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that you can set in certain web browsers. When you turn on DNT, the browser may send a signal or other message to web services requesting that they not track you. At this time, our information collection practices will continue to apply as described in this Policy, regardless of any DNT signals that are sent by certain browsers or selected by you. Exigent Circumstances

In addition to the disclosures set forth above, we will disclose Personal Data about you: (1) if we are required to do so by law or legal process, (2) to law enforcement authorities, judiciary or other government officials, (3) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity; or (4) if necessary to protect the vital interests of any person.

Security

We use commercially reasonable efforts to meet industry standards to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information. Unfortunately, it is impossible to absolutely guarantee the security of data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network. Therefore, although we take such commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to us or from online services and you do so at your own risk.

Choice/Opt-In/Removal

NannyHunt Services provide Users with the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request Personal Information or by following links to request support service available on NannyHunt Services.

NannyHunt Services also give Users the option to e-mail us to request removal of their Personal Information from our database and/or to not receive future communications:

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident and a customer of ours, you have the right to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of your Personal Information with third parties, for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. California Civil Code § 1798.83 provides you with the right to submit a request to us and receive the following information:

  • The categories of Personal Information we disclose to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year;
  • The names and addresses of third parties that received such information; and
  • If the nature of a third party’s business cannot be reasonably determined from the third party’s name, examples of the products or services marketed.

As stated herein, NannyHunt Services is an internet based application targeted toward a “general audience” and not directed toward children. However, certain areas of NannyHunt Services may contain interactive features that allow registered users to post content or information (the “Interactive Services”). If any of our Interactive Services are either: (1) directed toward California residents under the age of eighteen (18); or (2) if we have actual knowledge that a registered user of the Interactive Services is a California resident under the age of eighteen (18), we will permit such registered user to remove (if applicable) or request that we remove or anonymize such content or information as posted by the registered user, to the extent required by California Business and Professions Code § 22581. If you are under the age of eighteen (18) and would like to request the removal or anonymization of content or information you have posted on or to our Interactive Services, please see our contact information below to make such a request.

Location Settings; Text Messages

In order to access and use NannyHunt Services, you must enable native notification functionality on your mobile phone and/or text messages. You acknowledge and agree that standard message and data rates may apply in the United States. You must also enable GPS locations settings on your mobile device in order to use and access the location based functionalities of NannyHunt Services.
